8 TYPES OF SENIOR LIVING AND CARE Independent living with amenities such as meals, transpor ta tion and activities usually included in a monthly fee. A program of palliative care consisting of medical, social and support services provided to persons with a terminal illness and a physician's prognosis of six months or less to live.
