Table of Contents – We cut down on the categories shown, used bigger colored blocks to identify each section and put in sub-categories to cover all providers included. Less clutter for the major categories that most are seeking. Around the beginning of 2017 a few of us decided to get together to see what "tweaks" we could make to the New LifeStyles Guide to Senior Living and Care. The goal was to make it even easier for our users to find the best community or care provider to meet their particular life situation. Well, what you see before you is the result of a lot of hours, consternation and coin flipping. A "new" New LifeStyles that better meets everyone's needs and objectives, while looking great. Here are a few of the highlights: Cover – Cleaned up the cover a bit, giving a potential community a bigger space to show off its property. Added some pictures at the top to graphically depict our mission and offerings with a slight nod to the area covered by the guide. A few less words, better graphics to let the user know what New LifeStyles is all about at a glance. That pretty much sums up the changes. If you have comments, we'd love to hear them, just e-mail newlife@newlifestyles.com. We will reply to your comments where requested. Thanks, Doug Listings – Listing pages have a cleaner look to provide more informa- tion to the user. In addition, there is now a vertical color bar that matches the index on the side of each page, with the category title to distinquish each section. Section Index – One of the biggest changes is having indexes in each of the major sections instead of one big index. This makes it a lot easier for the user to find communities that fit their needs. Each type of provider is color coded, to help clarify their offerings. Definitions of communities/ care for that section are shown above the index to help guide the user and they are color coded to match the index components. This new "category focus" also helps our clients better showcase their specialties. Map – The locator map for communities has been eliminated. We found most people were using our mobile locator to pinpoint the communities and plan their visits after they had done their research. There is a map to depict the coverage area and the communities are still listed by city. Same great information – with a few improvements! 5
