Our house manager Elinore is celebrating 8 years with our residents and families. The care is beyond compassionate as one family member Lynn O'Hearn Wagner says "My mom was immediately at home with the kind and compassionate loving care Irvine Cottages gives!" Yorktown Cottage offers all of Irvine Cottages specialties: Music, Art, Aroma, Exercise programs and excellent nursing care. All of our staff is also Alzheimer's Orange County trained and has weekly training. Member: Residential Care Resource Network Activities are amazing; Aroma, Art, Music and special games are favorites. One resident who plays the piano every day! Alzheimer's Orange County has provided the best in caregiver training and staff has weekly training by a nurse administrator. Cottage IV also has superb monthly care plans and documentation. We are very blessed to have such an awesome staff! Cottage IV has been cottage of the month 2 times. One of our caregivers was nominated by Alzheimer's Association of Orange County as "Caregiver of the year" 2009. Member: Residential Care Resource Network Cottage V is designed and programmed for older adults with very mild dementia who love activities. Cottage V residents love outings with Gina Tizon our general manager. A special thank you to Gina, for organizing excellent birthday parties and fun outings for all of our Cottage residents. Gina was nominated by the Alzheimer's Association as "Caregiver of the year" 2010. Cottage V has a beautiful sun room for private TV time or family time. Staff has been trained by Alzheimer's Orange County. Member: Residential Care Resource Network Anthony, our cottage VI manage,r has been caring for Irvine Cottage residents for over 15 years! He is an excellent caregiver who dedicates every day to making his residents feel extra special! Ruth, one of our residents, describes Anthony: "He is caring 100% of the time; I don't know how he does it! We love him." Our residents love Music, Art and sitting outside on their beautiful patio.
