no longer require hospital care but do need 24-hour
skilled nursing and rehabilitation care. New to UPMC
Seneca Place is a Transitional Rehabilitation Unit
(TRU) for short-term strengthening, operated in
collaboration with the UPMC Rehabilitation Institute.

offers personal care, skilled
nursing and rehabilitation
and skilled memory support
in an affordable, home-like
environment. New to Canterbury is the addition of 35
private skilled nursing and rehabilitation short-stay
beds on two floors for patients requiring a shorter stay
for strengthening before going home. These Transi -
tional Rehabilitation Units (TRUs) are operated in
collaboration with the UPMC Rehabilitation Institute.
