care nurses to deal with complicated wound related
issues, as well as in home lymphedema therapy and
vital stim for swallowing difficulties. Staff includes
skilled nurses, physical, occupational and speech
therapists, social workers and home health aides.
UPMC/Jefferson Regional Home Health provides
quality compassionate care for patients from newborns
to adults. Our staff develops individualized treatment
plans unique to each patient's condition, social
situation and level of recovery. Nurses and therapists
are available seven days a week to provide assess -
ments and timely interventions. Specialty nurses focus
on patient education, medications and symptom self-
management. Staff is trained to help patients and
families cope with diagnosis, identify potential risk
factors and facilitate recovery.
