The Ida Kayne Transitional Care Unit (TCU) at the
Los Angeles Jewish Home is designed to help seniors
successfully transition back home after an illness,
injury, medical procedure, or hospital stay. With
world-class physical, occupational, and speech
therapies and sensitive care, the TCU's goal is to get
patients better faster. The average length of stay is
2-6 weeks, though longer stays of up to 90 days are
possible. We accept Medicare, most insurance plans,
and private pay.

back home by providing around-the-clock nursing care
by some of the best trained licensed nurses, physical
and occupational therapists in the industry. We offer
24-hour nursing supervision for residents requiring the
