The Birchwood Unit at The Ellis is a specialized care unit in our skilled nursing facility. The Unit emphasizes comprehensive care for individuals with dementia and related disorders. An individual care plan is prepared in consultation with family, staff and physician. Dedicated nursing staff are with residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
